A name, phone number, or address entered in a search box is handled by the outside provider that delivers those results. Ennis Residents Directory does not save a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the content of your message and use it to respond.
Routine Technical Data
The hosting service records standard log information, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and pages requested. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand broad traffic patterns. Cookies or comparable tools can support essential analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
That information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We do not sell a list of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links may lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search providers. The policy of the destination service governs information entered there. Sponsored results are also supplied by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process the server logs needed to operate the service. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise stated here.
Data Security
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. Because there are no user accounts, the service does not maintain a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has provided information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, HB 4, effective July 1, 2024, describes consumer rights including access, correction, deletion, and certain opt-outs for covered businesses. Because this reference keeps very little, a request is generally limited to checking the contact mailbox and server logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Texas, Ellis County, or Ennis custodians are outside our control and must be addressed to the office holding the record.
